Patriot Trip XIV

For twelve years our Veterans and family members have joined Assemblyman Steve Hawley for a memorable trip to our Nation’s Capital. Brothers and sisters enjoy time together, daughters and sons spend special moments with fathers, mothers, husbands and wives share memories, widows tell us stories of their husbands' service to America. This year we will be staying at the Marriott Hotel in Bethesda, MD.
Attractions we have visited include:
- WWII Memorial
- Korean War Memorial
- Vietnam War Memorial
- Iwo Jima - The Marine Corps Memorial
- The Air Force Memorial
- Arlington National Cemetery including the Changing of the Guard
- We have the honor of laying a wreath at the Tomb of the Unknowns
- The Women’s Veterans Memorial at Arlington
- The White House
- Gettysburg
- The Holocaust Museum
- The Capitol
- The American History Museum
- The Hazy Museum & Air and Space Smithsonian
- The National Marine Museum
- Mt. Vernon
- Annapolis Naval Academy
